And the Winner is…JoeJoe! JoeJoe won with a grand total of 868 votes! JoeJoe's owner also gets a treat - a $500 gift certificate from Brashears Furniture! Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. It brought much needed support and awareness to our local Humane Societies.
Each of the three Humane Societies will receive a $500 donation from Brashears Furniture. In addition, $321 was raised through purchased votes — which will be divided between the three Humane Societies.
What a great story. We're so glad JoeJoe has a loving home now. JoeJoe’s parents may want buy him a new bed with their $500 gift certificate from Brashears.
Thank you all for participating in our first “Dog Tales” contest. We were thrilled with how many people shared their photos and stories about their beloved animals and by the large number of people who voted in support of our local shelters.
We are animal lovers at Brashears and we greatly appreciate the difficult job our Animal Shelters have in taking care of abandon animals in our communities. Thank you all for voting and supporting these shelters.
It was heart warming to read the stories about animals that have found such loving “forever homes” and the joy they have brought their owners.
We were also excited that we were able to help get three dogs adopted during our Big Dog Sale. For those of you that met Charlie Brown and Greta in Berryville and Nicko and at our Springdale Showroom they all found new homes!! Or course the shelters have many more available if you’re looking for a new companion.

Yes. Photos were accepted through the deadline of August 22, 2012. Voting runs from August 22 through August 31, 2012.
1. Winner of the best 'Dog Tale' will be decided by the largest number of votes. Brashears will award a $500 gift certificate to the dog's owner.
2. Brashears will donate $1 per vote and divide it equally between the three local Humane Societies listed below*:

How many times can I vote?
Everyone gets 10 free votes in this contest, one vote per day or you can cast all 10 votes at once. No purchase is required for contest registration or for voting. However, you may also purchase as many extra votes as you'd like, and apply them to one submission or many. You can purchase votes as many times as you'd like. Net proceeds of purchased votes will be donated to the animal shelters.
